Eagle River Inn, Minturn - Vail Valley

What a lovely, relaxing local hotel! Nestled next to the river, this place offers peace & quiet. Everything was so clean & nice. The included robe & slippers were luxurious. Perfect for walking down to the hot tub. If you prefer to relax by the fire, they offer 2 outdoor firepits with sheepskin lined chairs to sip an evening cocktail. There is even a drink service if you want a nightcap. The morning breakfast was fresh & delicious with fresh fruit, cheeses, yogurt, organic eggs. My husband & I visited Minturn as an alternative to the nearby bustling, busy mountain towns. It was wonderful! Only 10 minutes from Vail or Beaver Creek. Walking distance to several local restaurants, a winery & a distillery. We liked that there are not TVs in the rooms. The bedding & shower was high quality. So glad we got to experience the Eagle River Inn & it's history in Minturn.

We had an absolutely incredible time at the Eagle River Inn. My husband and I traveled here for our 3 year anniversary. We received the best hospitality and treatment we could have imagined during our stay. The hotel was charming, the breakfast was delicious and filling, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We skied at Vail while staying there, and the free bus located right outside the hotel took us right to the base. The hotel was walking distance to many cute shops and restaurants. Special shout outs to Tryanny and Brian - they provided outstanding service! Would stay here over and over again.

Eagle River Inn was absolutely fantastic! Staff reached out in the days leading up to double check on anything specific we needed and day of coordinated with us on our arrival. Awesome room, impeccable service; they got breakfast ready early based on our departure time. Sitting out back in the evening next to the river at the fire pit is a great way to finish your day. We'll be back for sure!

We loved our stay! The hotel has such a warm, inviting feel — the décor is beautifully thought out, striking the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. Everywhere you look, you can tell there was real attention to detail and quality. The rooms were quiet and incredibly comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax. Service was top-notch — friendly, attentive, and professional without ever feeling overbearing. It’s clear this place was designed with care and intention. We’ll definitely be back… especially for the warm cookies!

We had an amazing stay at Eagle River Inn and highly recommend staying here! It’s such a beautiful, cozy lodge nestled right next to the river in Minturn. Check in was easy, service was great, our room was adorable and cozy, and the bed was SO comfy! The lobby is awesome too and there’s coffee and breakfast in the morning. There’s also outdoor seating next to the river and we enjoyed sitting out there. We will definitely be back.

We had the best experience at the Eagle River Inn! Our entire wedding party stayed here for the weekend, and the owners went above and beyond to make everything perfect. You can tell how much they truly care about their business and their guests. The renovations are beautiful, and the property was kept in amazing condition all weekend—especially the yard, which was picture-perfect for our event. The owners were so hands-on, from helping pick up chairs after the ceremony to immediately taking care of unexpected cleanup just an hour before the event. Their involvement and dedication made everything run smoothly, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We highly recommend staying here, but even more so, strongly encourage considering it as a wedding or event venue—it’s absolutely stunning!

This place is a gem! The renovation is beautiful - the aesthetic is warm, inviting, and cozy. There are thoughtful amenities like a fully stocked snack bar and mini fridge for affordable prices, robes and slippers, and a hot drink beverage station where you can help yourself. The continental breakfast reminds me of breakfasts in Europe with meats, cheeses, bread, yogurt, and pastries. There is a beverage service (for purchase) in the afternoons and evenings that add a nice touch to the stay. The location along the river and ample outdoor seating make it a destination you never want to leave! The staff were so kind and accommodating and it was fun meeting and speaking with the owners. Our one constructive criticism is that the room was quite warm in the summer. We couldn't get it below 78 degrees despite the cooler temps at night, using a fan, and keeping the window open. We'd recommend lighter bedding in the summer to help improve sleep!

Such a lovely place to stay. Very near the heart of Munturn, Co and less than 30 minutes away from Vale. The service is amazing, rooms are simple but very nice. They serve a really good breakfast with a great charcuterie board, fresh boiled eggs, delicious yogurt with all the trimmings. Across the street is the Munturn Saloon, a good place for dinner and drinks. Anything from an overnight or a mid-winter ski trip, sit by the fireplace and enjoy a cocktail or a class of wine, perhaps play a board game. We will definitely be back. My wife and I just had a special time there.
